They have Vegi Flajitas that are great for anyone on a plant based diet. They also offer stuffed bell peppers and other unusual offerings that are yummy.

Our favorite Mexican restaurant. We drive all the way from La Grange. Their beef street tacos are the best I've had. They always remember us when we arrive and are very welcoming. My husband says they have his favorite margarita, not too sweet.

This place has been my happy place since we bought a house in Brenham a year and a half ago. One of my biggest reservations about moving to Brenham was finding Mexican restaurant that served strong high quality margaritas and great Tex Mex food served piping hot. Manuels fits the bill. We eat here almost every week. Some of my favorites are the Chefs special, which are chicken fajita enchiladas covered with some darn good chili gravy. I get it with chopped onions on top. Another favorite is, the Brenham special, which is bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with cheese and jalapeño. My go to are the chicken enchiladas Verdes. Their tomatillo sauce is on point. I have given up regular margaritas for their skinny margarita which is fantastic. My hubby loves their top shelf. Margarita it won't disappoint and it will take the edge off a bad day. Armando, the owner takes special care of us every time we come in and makes us feel welcome and important. The environment is typical neighborhood Mexican restaurant nothing fancy but it's a friendly warm place and a great place to get Mexican comfort food. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in Brenham , but this one is by far the best.

Delicious Machaca, cowboy enchiladas, and breakfast enchilada! They will also make delicious grilled vegetables!!

Great food. Armando is a great guy ! Beats all the other Mexican food joints in town. The service is always excellent. We eat here once a week and it's always good.

Great little hole-in-the-wall restaurant that does a decently acceptable chicken mole on Thursday. Definitely worth checking out.

My wife and I happened by this place one afternoon after Christmas because so many of the other restaurants in town were closed for the holiday season. Although the service was rather slow, we eventually had our order taken, and the manager was actually rather funny and told us Several jokes; my cheese enchilada meal was absolutely fantastic. The cheese was so rich and the beans and rice were so hot. It was hard for me to actually finish my meal; my wife had to take some of her fajita beef chimichanga home with her. A very rewarding experience. Much better than my first time there with my prior review.

Sorry I haven't written a review before now seeing how my family and i have been eating here for the last few years. I was first introduced to this place a few years back by one of my hunting buddies so when we are going to hunt camp we always try to get by here for lunch or dinner, just great food & today was one of those days, so after work here we come. My daughter got a great looking dish called Bandera Mexicana Enchiladas which relates to a red white & a green enchilada Dinner, it looked very tasty, and she said it was great, my 2 grandsons and myself got our favorite, meal, cheese enchiladas with beans and rice, and with a queso appetizer and drinks what more could you want. Manuel's is a STAPLE in BTX. Don't even bother going anywhere else. Manuel is in there all the time as has has been since I was 7 years old and ate here for the first time. The margaritas are GREAT and they come in numerous different sizes. I believe one is even a 64 oz!!! The food is too good to be true. It's your true Tex Mex which is what every Texan LOVES. Manuel actually took care of us and he's the sweetest. He works very very hard and is always making sure everyone has a great time and enjoys their meal. The place is well kept, and is always busy. You can usually always find a table tho! Definitely give this place a chance. Queso was great!!! The beef fajita meat is some of the best seasoned beef fajita meat I've ever eaten and my enchiladas were soooo good! Love this place!

Stopped in after a family friend's suggestion, this has been his go to Mexican restaurant since it opened. It is a small Mexican restaurant in the middle of a nice neighborhood with awesome food. The chips are perfectly crispy, they are served with salsa verde and salsa. Both sauces are mild with a light flavor. The salsa verde with a dash of salt is my favorite, usually about 4 bowls of it. So far I have only tried 2 entrees because I always go back to the first dish I ever ate here. Appetizers - Chili Con Queso - 7.5/10 Entrees - The Chef Special - 9/10 Two enchiladas with your choice of chicken or beef fajita wrapped in delicate corn tortillas that are smothered in queso. Served with rice and beans. This is my go to dish every time. I absolutely love it. The tender beef with the queso is heaven. Tamale Plate - 8/10 Three tamales smothered in chili sauce. Served with rice and beans. This was an excellent dish, the tamales had a good flavor unlike so many other restaurants. If I had a complaint, it would be no free refills (canned drinks) but I make do. Lol Definitely a must try if you are in the area or passing thru.
